Y.O.P.E.

Let’s dance! Y.O.P.E., conceived by Dutch bassist Joop de Graaf, makes danceable fusion with jazz, beat music and broken beat. The band immerses itself in an electronic world of sounds. Vocals are used not only for lyrics, but also to add layers of contrast.

De Graaf won the Dutch Conservatory Talent Award as well as the Composition Prize. The jury praised him for showcasing a modern and contemporary sound that engages the audience with his enthusiasm. The first Y.O.P.E. studio album is planned for release in summer 2024, entitled Peer Pleasure.
