Keynote Randy Thom at Sound Summit 2021

We partnered up with Dutch Media Week – an event that celebrates all facets of media from sound to design, film, video and music. All these disciplines will come together during their week-long event. Naturally, BMIM believes that music and sound deserve a place in the spotlight which is why we are hosting a session with no one less than Oscar-winning sound designer Randy Thom – known for his work in Harry Potter, The Revenant, Ice Age, Indiana Jones and Forrest Gump (to just name a few). During this session he’ll discuss the importance of sound for film and the role he thinks he should play during the production process.
